I am looking at two sets of pistons, the Keith Black hyperuetectic pistons part #KB277KTM-030 and the Icon forged part #IC886KTD-030, both have rings 

Conclusion: The block was machined for the standard KB piston size and the pistons were not the standard piston size eventhough they were within 

3/20 · I've got a mild 1978 360 stock heads,mild cam and flat top Keith Black hypereutectic pistons. I am wanting to add about a 100 or 150 shot of nitrous. Will the pistons hold up to the gas. These are cast not forged pistons. I've heard it doesn't take much to shatter these pistons. Just want to see what it will add to a Duster going down the track.

2004/3/17 · Discussion Starter · #1 · Mar 29, 2002. Is anyone running Keith Black KB116 pistons in a 289? I was thinking of getting these for my 289. They are a .020 dome piston. WHen I was on their web site, their footnotes say the dome on these pistons will need to be modified for early 289 heads. I am running World Products Windsor Jr. heads.
